First, I will introduce what a linear function will physically look like, and I will go over all the formulas related to linear functions such as: slope-intercept, point slope, standard form. Once you have a good understanding of what a linear function graphically looks like, I will go over the two main methods of graphing a linear function. The two methods include: rise over rune method, and graphing using x and y intercept. I will go over slope, and how to find slope when given an equation or just two coordinates. I will go over how to find a linear equation in slope-intercept, point- slope or standard form when given a few pieces of information. I will go over parallel and perpendicular lines, and how to find the equation that is parallel or perpendicular to that certain line. Finally, I will go over real-world application problems related to linear functions.
